DripDropORS Celebrated as Humanitarian Force for Good
Humanitarian force for good DripDrop gives back by supporting aid missions around the world. This Friday, the company is celebrated in new video series, “American Companies Give Back”.
DripDrop is a medical-grade rehydration solution. It was created by physician Dr. Eduardo Dolhun during multiple mission trips to provide humanitarian aid in remote villages around the world. Dr. Dolhun found that patients, especially kids, had trouble keeping down the WHO oral hydration solutions due to the taste. His question: What if the solution could taste good?
A Life-Saving Humanitarian Solution
Dr. Dolhun created DripDrop as a way to treat dehydration in the most challenging circumstances. It is used widely by firefighters and the military as a lightweight, portable, cost-effective, and great-tasting solution to replenish fluids in the field. The powder sticks are also used by aid workers on humanitarian missions and for disaster relief.
DripDrop Featured on “American Companies Give Back”
Produced by Seattle-based production company Bayside Entertainment, “American Companies Give Back” is a new video series that celebrates corporate giving. Executive Producer Joanie Burton Wynn was impressed with DripDrop’s level of corporate social responsibility.
DripDrop generously donates its products and provides “boots on the ground” support to relief missions around the world. They focus their charitable giving on 3 key areas: children, firefighters, and humanitarian aid missions. They support hundreds of worthy non-profit organizations that are doing vital work around the world. One example is FIMRC , the Foundation for International Medical Relief for Children.Joanie Burton Wynn, Executive Producer, Bayside Entertainment
Tara Pate, Director of Mission Activation at DripDrop, was interviewed for the segment by series host Ken Bastida.
Giving Back to Humanitarian Efforts Abroad and At Home
In addition to their international work, DripDrop also supports US-based humanitarian initiatives.
I think a great example of that is Covid-19. We sent over 30,000 sticks to New York City in support of nurses that were traveling there when it was a critical time. Since then, we have donated an additional 30,000 sticks to nurses all around the United States.Tara Pate, Director of Mission Activation, DripDrop ORS
As part of its three areas of humanitarian aid, DripDrop is a huge supporter of US firefighters. In partnership with NVFC (National Volunteer Firefighter Council), DripDrop is donating 100,000 sticks to firefighters across the US. This means that firefighters will receive support as our nation enters high-risk fire season.
